Project Overview

This project was executed under the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) as part of its community development and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
Atiode Solar Systems Ltd was formally contracted by the NDDC to carry out the supply, installation, and commissioning of 239 units of 100W solar-powered streetlights in Idoa Town, Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State.
The project was designed to improve nighttime visibility, public safety, and community security, while promoting the use of renewable energy solutions for rural and semi-urban infrastructure development.
The installed solar streetlights operate independently of the national grid, ensuring reliable illumination with minimal maintenance requirements and reduced operational costs.
